Camp El Amor de Patricia is headed to Guatemala! The Nelson, Ockuly, Bona, Perelman, Blume,and Hillstrom Families are excited for the opportunity to visit the homeland of our children and participate in multiple service related projects, as well as have a lot of fun! We will be working with the awesome organization called El Amor de Patricia. El Amor is located in San Lucas, Guatemala. They have a children's home for abandoned, neglected and abused children. Over the years El Amor's vision has grown and they now service nearby villages delivering bunk beds, stoves and water filters (among other things). Our team is traveling to Guatemala in August 2018. We are excited to be bringing our kids back to see their birth country with other adoptees and we are looking forward to positively impacting the children and families in Guatemala. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP! Each bunk bed costs $220. This includes the mattresses, comforters and pillows! Stoves cost $205 and water filters cost $60. Our team will be able to hand deliver and help install all the beds, stoves and filters for which we receive donations! Any donation you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
