Help build Eric's Playground for the children of Yalu

El Amor de Patricia has been offered a $25,000 matching grant to build a playground in honor of Eric Grande, the beautiful little boy from Yalu, who died while playing on the back of a pick up truck. For every dollar donated toward Eric's playground, Brian and MaryAnn Nystrom have offered to donate one dollar, up to $25,000, toward the building of our school in Yalu.

Help the children of Yalu stay off of buses and trucks by building a playground in their village. Help them receive a safe and inviting place to play and have the much needed fun they deserve. All in honor of dear Eric.

This grant will fund the playground and provide funds toward the school! Thank you to our dear friends, Brian and Mary Ann Nystrom for your continued love and commitment for the people of Guatemala.

We appreciate you wanting to be a part of one of children of Yalu's life. It is a beautiful village filled with the most amazing people. Your donation helps with the basic needs of the child's family such as food, shelter, and education. However, it does so much more as well. You offer HOPE. Hope for a brighter future as El Amor de Patricia continues to work with the community and bring opportunities that make a difference in the lives of the people who live in the beautiful village of Yalu. Monthly food baskets begin at $35 for families up to 5 people and $70 for families over 5 people.

We ask that people choose a sponsorship amount that works for them... and with that, a child may
have more than one sponsor, but can a child in need have too many people loving him/her?
