Christmas Food Basket
El Amor de Patricia intends to ensure that the residents of Yalu are receiving proper nutritional subsidies that will help improve their brain function and overall health. Our goal is to subsidize protein-rich food for the village allowing them to fill in the needed fruits and vegetables and other necessities on their own.
The Bunk Bed Project
The Bunk Bed Project® serves some of the most vulnerable populations in Guatemala by providing beds, stoves, and water filters. El Amor staff and volunteers deliver bunk beds to children who have previously been using twigs, cinder blocks, wood pallets, or nothing at all for beds.
Animal Care Program - Spay Neuter Project
Like the rest of the village, the food for animals is scarce. As life is filled with daily challenges, caring for pets is not a luxury the villagers can afford. As many visitors and team members have noticed the plight of the animals, there have been several contributions specifically to provide care to the beloved creatures of the village.

Clean Water Project
In addition to individual water filters, El Amor has partnered with the municipality of Sumpango and village leaders to bring water to all the homes in Yalu. The municipality has dug a well, El Amor is providing the tubing and pipes for the project, and the village is providing the labor under the supervision of an engineer and project management resources from El Amor.
